POSITION INFO:

Our Client a global tech firm is seeking an Azure Solutions Architect to join their team in Sandton on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary and an excellent working environment.

Description

We require an Azure Solutions Architect with certifications in Azure Solutions and Developer Associate. At least 4 years working experience in Azure and able to work in a cross functional Agile team. 

Requirements

• A minimum of 48 months Azure experience
• Experience working in a cross-functional agile team
• Proficiency in technical architecture and high-level design

Senior Developers must be able to perform as a

Tech-Lead with the following tasks:

• Technical lead for development, design and implementation of web-based solutions as part of the projects team
• Collaborate with Developers, Account Managers and Project Managers
• Estimate development tasks and execute well on project schedules
• Interact with clients to create requirement specifications for projects
• Innovate new solutions and keep up with new emerging technologies
• Mentoring of other developers

QUALIFICATION / PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS

 Required (not-negotiable):

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-303, AZ-304)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)

 Advantageous (nice to have):

• A relevant university computer science degree or equivalent
• Other Azure certifications

 Advantageous (nice-to-have):

• 3 years computer science degree or equivalent
• GitHub Actions/ Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Sports knowledge
