BI Delivery Lead

Overview:

PBT Group has a requirement for a BI Delivery Lead. This role requires someone who can manage service delivery for multiple clients’ projects, mostly in the Gauteng region. Key aspects of the role include, but are not limited to, interaction with Clients (Snr management), PBT Consultants, and BDM/Account Managers.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Understand PBT’s services provided to the client, e.g. roadmap, scope, milestones (including costs), delivery expectations, timelines etc…
• Actively drive team engagements (Stand-up’s or regular team meetings with relevant stakeholders)
• Setup mechanisms to monitor delivery progress
• Track delivery progress
• Manage meetings (agendas, invitations, minutes & actions, facilitation)
• Proactively follow-up with relevant team members on delivery Tasks (planned, in-progress, delayed or overdue)
• Manage and escalate risks, issues or concerns when applicable
• Prepare, draft and present various delivery related documents & reports

Skills & Experience Required:

• Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
• Highly proficient in using MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiar with using tools for remote and co-located meetings and sessions, including shared repository services
• Prior experience in the Project Management or Agile project delivery domains will be required and exposure to ‘Business Intelligence’ projects are preferred
• Experience or exposure to projects in the IT industry, ideally involvement in Data related projects, e.g. Data migrations, Data Warehouse / Cloud implementation or migration projects
