Midrand, Gauteng | Full-time | Manager Level | Hybrid

We’re looking for a Data Product Manager (Finance) to lead the delivery of reporting, analytics, and data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making across the Finance function.

This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Data, and Technology, driving the development of scalable dashboards, automation, and insight products that improve efficiency, standardisation, and user experience.

POSITION INFO:
What you’ll do

Own and deliver end-to-end finance data products, from concept to implementation
Partner with stakeholders across FP&A, Record-to-Report, and Management Reporting
Design and deploy Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions
Translate business requirements into clear KPIs, insights, and data models
Lead project delivery, including backlog management, sprint planning, and stakeholder updates
Drive process improvement and automation using tools like Power Platform
Ensure strong data governance, quality, and compliance standards
Support adoption, training, and change enablement across Finance teams

What you’ll bring

4–6+ years’ experience in Finance reporting, analytics, or data product delivery
Strong experience with:

Power BI or Databricks
Advanced Excel
SQL / data environments

Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end
Strong understanding of finance processes and reporting
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Experience working with cross-functional teams (Finance & Tech)

Qualifications

Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Economics)
Professional finance qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA) – advantageous
Certifications in Power BI, Azure, or Data platforms – beneficial
