Big Data Engineer – Randburg – R1.6 Mil per annum cost to company

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you currently designing the architecture of a big data platform?

Are you currently customizing and managing integration tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems?

Do you have good understanding on modern technology tools like Hadoop, YARN, Scala, Spark SQL, and Hive?

If this sounds like you, then you should apply now!

The successful incumbent will be responsible to Develop high quality data warehouse solutions in the cloud.

Requirements:

5 -7 Years as a Business Intelligence SQL Developer USING BIG DATA TOOLS
SQL / TSQL
Use of and RESTFul APIs
Use of SOAP Web Services
Experience of developing solutions in the cloud
Experience of developing data warehouses and data marts
Experience of Data Vault and Dimensional modelling techniques
Experience working in a high availability DataOps environment
Experience working with automated data warehousing solutions would be advantageous

Qualifications

Degree/ Honours in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering
Relevant Microsoft Certifications in Business Intelligence, SQL, and Cloud
