Our client in the Boland/Helderberg area is in need of a Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their team.

The relevant candidate must be able to work in a high-pressure fast paste environment.

Description

Full Responsibility for ensuring accurate financial record keeping. · Ensure applicable policies and processes are created, documented, reviewed, signed off and adhere to · VAT · Bank Management · Monitor Daily Cash balances · Reconciling to monthly income statements · Providing support on budget process if needed · Regularly review the overall organizational expenditure to ensure the expenditure of all entities remain within budget · Continued analysis and review of current and new systems · Report on and resolve exceptions caused by system errors · Check and Execute Payments Daily/Weekly/Monthly · Check and signed off Creditors Reconciliation · Fixed Assets Management · Short term insurance claims · Intercompany Recoveries Management and recons. · Assist in Managing the year-end, interim and all month-end processing and reporting. · Management of Communication of intercompany accounts · Assist in managing the External audit process · Support the FM to deliver strategic initiatives · Various Ad hoc tasks · Preparations of weekly cashflow if needed. · Assist with Management of all Financial team members. · Management of Debtors Insurance. · Manage the Debtors Book, report on outstanding, send statements etc. · Assist the Creditors and Debtors staff and be back-up when they are on leave.
