SUMMARY:
A dynamic company is seeking a detailâdriven Bookkeeper / Junior Finance Manager to join their team in Stellenbosch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong fullâfunction finance experience who is ready to step into a leadership role.

POSITION INFO:

You will manage fullâfunction bookkeeping up to trial balance, including cashbook processing, reconciliations, VAT submissions, and maintaining the asset register. They will oversee the creditors and debtors’ functions, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliations, payments, and collections. The role includes preparing monthly financial reports, assisting with payroll inputs, and supporting monthâend and yearâend processes. They will implement and maintain effective internal controls while resolving financial queries from suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders. In addition, they will supervise two finance team members and support the Managing Director with adâhoc financial and operational reporting.

Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and fullâfunction accounting
Solid experience in creditors, debtors, VAT, recons, cashbook & TB
Proficiency in Sage, VIP Payroll, and IQ Retail (advantageous)
Intermediate to advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
High accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical aptitude
Strong organisational and timeâmanagement skills
Minimum 3–5 years' fullâfunction bookkeeping experience
Excellent communication and problemâsolving skills
Ability to work independently in a fastâpaced environment
Ethical, reliable, and deadline-driven

Qualification:
NDip, BCom qualification in Finance or Accounting
