Company and Job Description Our client is a respected and growing manufacturer known for delivering quality products and maintaining high operational standards. They are seeking a Bookkeeper to Balance Sheet who can take ownership of the full finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy manufacturing environment. This role offers exposure to stock, inventory, production-related transactions, and month-end reporting, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the financial heartbeat of a manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities Manage the full bookkeeping function up to balance sheet. Process supplier invoices, customer receipts, and daily cashbook transactions. Perform bank, creditor, debtor, and general ledger reconciliations. Prepare monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with inventory reconciliations and ensure the integrity of stock-related transactions. Process VAT returns and assist with statutory submissions. Support month-end and year-end reporting, including audit preparation. Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules. Ensure compliance with company financial controls and accounting standards. Job Experience and Skills Required Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a Bookkeeper to Balance Sheet. Previous experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, engineering, or production environment is essential. Strong understanding of inventory, stock reconciliations, and manufacturing finance processes. Strong understanding of Syspro (non negotiable) Proven experience preparing month-end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations. Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel. Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict month-end deadlines. Apply now!
