A growing and innovative accounting firm seeks an experienced Accountant to join their team based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.

In this role the successful incumbent will be acting as a business partner to the Director by ensuring smooth running of operations of the Cape Town office.

Duties include but not limited to overseeing and mentoring of article clerks, ensuring client deliverables are met as well as getting hands-on in the accounting for various clients when needed.

*Please note the successful incumbent will have a valid drivers' license as traveling is required.

Education:
BCom in Accounting / Finance

Skills & Experience:
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles will be preferred
3 to 4 years' post article experience in a full function accounting role
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Valid drivers' license
Financial acumen
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
