POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing South African FMCG manufacturer based in KwaZulu-Natal. Known for their entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and strong consumer focus, they offer an exciting environment for marketing professionals to thrive. This is a full-time, office-based Brand Manager position reporting directly to the Marketing & Brand Strategy Manager. You will be responsible for growing the brand presence across digital, eCommerce, and offline channels. Balancing strategic vision with operational execution, you will ensure brand consistency, drive market growth, and boost consumer engagement. Key Responsibilities Digital Media & eCommerce: Oversee digital platforms with external agency partners, manage online catalogue performance, and drive direct-to-consumer eCommerce growth. Website & Loyalty: Manage the corporate website, online store, promotional gifting, and strategic loyalty programmes. PR & Activations: Coordinate PR packs, giveaways, trade packs, and partner with third parties to manage events and activations. Market Intelligence: Track marketing activity effectiveness, monitor market trends, and deliver comprehensive competitor reviews. Strategy & Product Input: Contribute directly to new product development (NPD), overall brand strategy, and annual budget planning. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with external agencies and brand partners. Requirements Experience: 5–8 years of experience in a Brand Management role, with extensive digital media management experience. Industry Background: Minimum 2–3 years of solid experience within the FMCG \/ Consumer Packaged Goods sector. Data Capabilities: Strong, proven experience in analysing sales and market data. Advantageous: Background in developing and executing eCommerce strategies. Track record of launching and managing new products (NPD). Understanding of FMCG regulatory frameworks. Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance daily output and efficiency. Attributes Proactive self-starter with a growth mindset and strong resourcefulness.
