JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities
Marketing Communications

Lead the execution of all marketing activities across the Southern African market, within a brand-led organization and fast-growing category.
Manage the creation and execution of all key social media messaging, ensuring a consistent brand voice and identity, with a finger firmly on the pulse of our consumers and culture.
Plan and manage content calendar across social channels, community management, reporting and optimization against KPIs.
Manage PR efforts including media and influencer outreach, campaigns, and collaborations.
Collaborate with our media and creative agency partners to develop integrated omni-channel campaigns, and drive campaign planning, production, and deployment across channels and tactics across key consumer facing digital / social touchpoints

Innovation

Continuously scan the market, food trends, and consumer insights to develop and lead an innovation pipeline for the Southern African market that drives category growth
Collaborate with sales and customers to develop and execute winning launch plans

Business Management

Analyze performance through monthly reporting, communicating progress on key performance indicators and areas for optimization
Work closely with Sales to identify growth opportunities, then chase after them with tenacity
Work with senior leadership to develop our annual marketing budget, while closely managing the budget throughout the year.

People Management

Manage a full-time Assistant Brand Manager

Experience Required

At least 3 years of solid experience in a Brand Manager position in a corporate environment, ideally within the food category, with proven experience in digital/social media
A creative thinker with strong communication skills who can collaborate effectively and efficiently within an international environment
Proactive, tenacious, detail-oriented and enthusiastic; you have an unassailable focus on flawless delivery in pursuit of your objectives.
Experience working with consumers and B2B customers

Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
