POSITION INFO:
About the role: To build and maintain the corporate and product brands and to assist the Marketing Manager in all activities related to the brand to maximise sales. Minimum Requirements: o B Sc. (Pharm) \/ B Pharm or equivalent o Minimum of 5 years work experience o Post graduate qualification in marketing or communications (preferable) o Preferably at least 2 years' experience in a sales, product management, branding or advertising role, experience in digital marketing. Specific SHE Requirements: o Pre-employment, routine, and exit medicals are compulsory due to the nature of the business o Attendance to SHE-related training is mandatory. o Adherence to SHE Instructions (Waste Segregation, Water and Energy Saving Initiatives) o Compliance with SHE Site Rules is compulsory. o Company uses hazardous and biologically active chemicals. The successful candidate will be required to use proper PPE and will go through medical examinations as per OSH Act requirements. Key Performance Areas: Develop marketing materials that adhere to all regulatory requirements whilst ensuring they are of maximum benefit to the sales team o Develops product leave behinds, detail aids for use by sales team in accordance with defined brief. o Identifies and selects relevant literature to be used as references for promotional material or training material for sales team. o Arranges printing quotations and overseas the production and receipt of printed marketing materials. o Identifies promotional items for use as give-aways by the sales team, ensuring that the items are consistent with the Marketing Code. Continuous communication of updates to the sales team of MCA relevant regulations pertaining to new rules\/practises. o Co-ordinate distribution of promotional material to sales team. o Close liaison with the sales team to assess customer response to promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally. o Create marketing training material for RCA certification in relation to relevant business\/brand strategies. Translate corporate brand and product brand objectives into brand strategies o Develops annual plan of brand activities. o Generates creative ideas to create, build and enhance product brands. o Identifies potential opportunities for brand awareness\/promotion and makes recommendations to marketing manager. o Ensures all elements of the product are consistent with the brand. o Suggests new content for compiens website. Develops copy for inclusion on website. o Provides input into annual Marketing Plan New Product Evaluation, competitor and market intelligence o Analysis of sales, competitor activities, sales team reports\/notes to ensure continued understanding of the market and customer's needs. o Researches and reports on local and international industry trends and their impact on NBI markets. o Keeping abreast of treatment trends, clinical trials and publications and reporting on those which may impact on the usage of NBI products. o Research local and international markets, disease trends and customer needs. o Evaluate brand strength in the marketplace to identify opportunities and threats by reviewing print media, competitive intelligence, sales team monthly reports, and attendance of Quarterly Marketing Meetings. o Identifies the need for market research and makes recommendations to Marketing Manager. o Works as part of the business development division to identify and evaluate new products for companies current and future markets. Generates insights from market and competitor intelligence for consideration by team for new products. Training of Sales Team: o Plans and performs quarterly training for the sales team on the effective usage of promotional aids. o Adhoc in-field visits with sales team to observe usage of materials. o Provides telephonic support and assistance to sales team with respect to promotion\/detailing of companies products. o Perform regular evaluations on current product packaging\/components through the sales teams' visits and relevant studies pertaining to practise of their clients. o Twice monthly stock verification. Website re-design and content maintenance: o Planning, executing and maintaining the re-design of the website with compilation of the required documents (URS). o Management of the website content for the different departments with update and upkeep of the information on the website. o Communication and liaison with the designated website developer for troubleshooting and maintenance. o Close monitor of the HCP portal available on the new website with constant upkeep and maintenance of the content. o Overview of the website user queries\/requests ensuring that the relevant department receives and acts upon timeously. o Prepares statistical analysis report of the website use monthly and annually. Internal corporate branding: o Prepares internal marketing material for inclusion in internal communications. o Prepares and updates company employee features\/testimonials (for website re-design & social media platforms) and responses on these platforms. o Develops annual plan of activities to strengthen the corporate brand (internal). o Prepares relevant CSR campaigning associated with special awareness days. Social Media Liaison: o Managing and maintaining all social media material and features (Including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook (underway) o Compiling social media features as well as related campaigning for CSR events (internal and external). o Compiling Social Media SOP and updating\/upkeep of the document. o Training the relevant teams\/employees on the Social Media SOP. o Prepare annual statistical analysis report for the social media activities\/campaigning.
