A prestigious fragrance, cosmetics and personal care brand in Ballito is looking for a creative, hands-on Digital Marketing & Design Specialist.
Turn briefs into standout campaigns across social media, paid ads, email, e-commerce and in-store marketing. You’ll own the process from design to execution and reporting - working at pace, taking initiative and keeping every touchpoint on brand.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and responsibilities: Design the work: Design the majority of the content yourself - social posts, paid ad creative, email templates, website and Shopify banners, in-store support material, promotional artwork. Work in Adobe Creative Suite for the heavier design work and Canva for fast-turnaround and template-based assets. Keep everything on brand and consistent across channels. Run campaigns end to end: Roll a single campaign out across all its touchpoints - organic social, paid assets, email, website and Shopify, in store where needed. Own launches and promotions from asset creation to live, including the sequencing of what goes out when. Paid media: Build, load and optimise paid campaigns, mainly Meta and TikTok. Manage audiences, budgets and creative testing at a working level. Report on spend, reach, engagement and sales impact in plain numbers, with a view on what to change next. Email and e-commerce: Build and send campaigns in Klaviyo - design, copy layout, segmentation, scheduling and results. Update Shopify - products, collections, banners, landing pages and promotional mechanics. Influencers and creators: Brief influencers and creators against the campaign, send through product and messaging, and chase delivery. Collect the content back and repurpose it into paid and organic assets. Run your own traffic: Take briefs, log them, and manage them through to delivery. Hold your own deadline list and flag clashes early. Nobody will be trafficking jobs on your behalf. Keep everyone updated on what is in progress, what is landing when, and what is at risk. Requirements: Strong graphic design ability, with a portfolio of digital-first work. Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Hands-on digital marketing and social media experience. Shopify or an equivalent e-commerce platform. Klaviyo or a comparable email platform, with campaign build and reporting experience. Practical paid media experience on Meta and TikTok, including basic reporting. Able to work at speed across several brands and deadlines at once, and hold quality while doing it. Nice to have: Video editing and short-form content for TikTok and Reels. Experience working across more than one brand or market. Retail, beauty, fragrance or FMCG background.
