SUMMARY:
Seeking an experienced Budget and Treasury Specialist with extensive Public Sector experience (municipal level). You will be tasked with managing the financial resources in an efficient and professional manner and providing support to all departments to ensure all legislation policies and procedures are implemented and upheld.

POSITION INFO:

Budget & Treasury Support Specialist (Long Term Contract) – Public Sector experience

We are seeking an experienced Budget and Treasury Specialist with extensive Public Sector experience (municipal level). You will be tasked with managing the financial resources in an efficient and professional manner while providing support to all departments in order to ensure that all legislation policies and procedures as prescribed by National Treasury are implemented and upheld.

You will need to meet the following requirements:

Bcom Degree in Accounting/Financial Management or related (NQF Level 7).
Post Graduate Degree in Accounting/Financial Management or related (NQF Level 8 or Higher).
5 - 10 years applicable experience in Municipal Financial Management.
Experience working in a Municipal environment
Solid Public Sector experience is necessary (non negotiable)
Must be registered with the relevant professional bodies, and be a member in good standing

Location: North-West Province, South Africa
