JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, a Top Employer in the Building Services sector, has an Exciting opportunity for a Building Information Modelling (BIM) Manager, based in Ireland

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Do you want to coordinate creation, maintenance, and quality assurance of BIM models?

We are looking for a Problem-solver with BIM modelling (Revit), BIM360 document management experience, and desire to collaborate designs and model coordination modules.

Responsibilities:

Setting up federated models for all projects per the BEP, EIR and other SOW documents.
Review and provide feedback to the respective project
Identification and delineation of the models
Management of interfaces between models and third-party software
Specification of project-wide modelling, naming and organizational requirements
Presentation of the above arrangements to the team
Set-up and management of a Common Data Environment (CDE) for project teams
Organization of model exchange between Revit, Navisworks and other third-party platforms.
Creation of dynamo scripts/automation workflows for model setup, model health checks and model sharing.
Reviewing, tracking, and reporting on model quality, including model structure, model content, LoDs, compliance with project-specific modelling specifications
Conduct design peer reviews to ensure model quality.
Creating project visualizations using Navisworks, Enscape3D for use within project reports, RFP’s and client interviews.
Setting up views and virtual tours of the model to illustrate model progress.
Maintenance, update, and development of the standard Revit Directory
Mentoring of junior designers/engineers on basic Revit concepts

Requirements:

Degree in Architecture, or civil engineering
Revit and Revit MEP, Navisworks, or Solibri
Review and analysis of BIM project execution plans
Applications for CDE and task management
VDC (Virtual Design Consulting) experience a bonus
