SUMMARY:
Business Analyst/Project Lead

POSITION INFO:

The role: Define business requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Lead a team of Business Analysts and QA Specialists, ensuring clarity of scope, delivery discipline, and alignment with business objectives.

Function as a bridge between strategy and execution, confirming that initiatives are well-planned, effectively governed, and deliver measurable impact across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts and QA specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of projects from requirements gathering through to delivery, ensuring quality and adherence to governance standards.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business strategy into actionable project plans.

• Ensure business requirements are accurately defined, documented, and prioritised.

• Drive continuous improvement in delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.

• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

• Facilitate effective communication between business units, technical teams, and leadership.

• Provide regular project reporting and performance insights to the PMO and executive team.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in both Business Analysis and Project Management

• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all organisational levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivery outcomes.

• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana) and business analysis frameworks.

• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, CBAP, AgilePM) are desirable.
