PBT Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a collaborative delivery team, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to deliver innovative business solutions. This role is ideal for a proactive analyst who enjoys understanding business challenges, improving processes, and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements elicitation and process analysis through to solution delivery, testing, and business sign-off.   Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirement validation sessions. Translate business requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Analyse current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and business value. Produce process maps, impact assessments, gap analyses, and supporting business documentation. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle. Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirement clarification, and change management activities. Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario reviews, defect clarification, and business sign-off. Ensure requirements remain traceable and aligned with delivered solutions. Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and requirement changes to relevant stakeholders.   Typical Deliverables Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) User Stories and Acceptance Criteria Process Maps and Swimlane Diagrams Gap and Impact Assessments Business Rules Documentation Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) UAT Scenarios and Business Sign-off Documentation   Required Skills & Experience Minimum 4 years' experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role. Strong experience in: Requirements elicitation and analysis Business process analysis Stakeholder management Business process improvement Solution documentation Experience producing: Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs) User Stories Use Cases Process Flows Acceptance Criteria Gap Analysis and Impact Assessments Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience working within Agile\/Scrum delivery environments. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Excellent planning, organisation, and documentation skills.   Advantageous Experience Experience using: Jira Confluence Azure DevOps Visio Lucidchart Exposure to Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Payments, or Digital Transformation projects. Basic SQL and data analysis experience. Knowledge of enterprise systems and system integration projects. Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or Scrum certifications.   Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Relevant Business Analysis or Agile certifications will be advantageous.   Key Competencies Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
