JOB DESCRIPTION:

Business Analyst (Intermediate) (JB1951)

Sandton, Johannesburg

R300 000 – R400 000 CTC per Annum

Benefits: Provident Fund, Group Life, Medical Aid, performance-based bonus, 20 days annual leave

Duration: Permanent

Overview

Intermediate level Business Analyst required to evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions thereto.

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant Degree

3 or more years’ data driven project experience with 2 or more years specific to SQL development projects

Experience with PowerBI or similar

Microsoft Excel

SQL (Oracle) experience

Project management skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimisation strategies

Stay abreast of latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernise systems

Perform requirements analysis

Effective communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements

Perform user acceptance testing

Managing projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance

Update, implement and maintain procedures

Act as liaison between stakeholders and users

Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects

Act as mentor to junior team members
