SUMMARY:
A leading organisation within the courier and logistics sector is seeking a commercially astute and highly analytical Business Analyst to support the growth and optimisation of key strategic accounts.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, data analytics, and client engagement, making it ideal for a professional who can translate complex data into actionable business decisions.

POSITION INFO:
You will partner closely with Account Executives and key clients, driving profitability, operational alignment, and long-term account growth through deep analysis and strategic insight.
This is not a reporting role — it is a commercially focused, client-facing position requiring strong analytical thinking and the confidence to influence decision-making at multiple levels.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed profitability and cost-to-serve analysis across accounts, services, and regions
Identify margin improvement opportunities and cost inefficiencies
Provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth and operational performance
Support continuous improvement initiatives across commercial and operational workflows
Analyse trends, risks, and performance deviations, proactively flagging issues
Prepare and present weekly performance and profitability reports
Act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and clients
Support onboarding of new clients, including technical, operational, and commercial integration
Align customer requirements with internal capabilities to drive sustainable account growth

Minimum Requirements

BCom Degree (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Data-related field)
5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager
5+ years’ experience within courier, logistics, or supply chain environments
Strong understanding of pricing models, margins, and cost structures
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

Technical Capability

Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
Experience with CRM systems and logistics platforms
Exposure to API integrations (JSON/API knowledge advantageous)
Strong reporting, dashboarding, and performance tracking capability
