Business Dev. Manager with Masterbatch exp.

SUMMARY:
A well-established Plastics Raw Material Supplier requires the above to establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective Key Accounts as well as generate new business within the industry.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Minimum matric is essential.
• A Scientific Tertiary qualification is preferred.
• Key Account Management and New Business Development experience is essential.
• Previous sales experience within the masterbatch, compounding, plastics raw materials or related industries is essential.
• The successful candidate must have a good understanding of plastic raw materials and the associated conversion processes.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite applications and CRM software is essential.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with own reliable vehicle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage Key Accounts within the plastics manufacturing and related industries.
• Develop marketing and business strategies as well as new business within the industry.
• Implement Key Account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are met or exceeded.
• Manage and deliver on technical queries with regards to existing and new products.
• Monitor market developments in order to identify and assess potential new Customers and opportunities.
• Build up market and competition knowledge by analysing market trends.
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships.
• Implement volumes and pricing objectives agreed with Key Account Customers.
• Effectively implement price increases and maintain monthly or quarterly price lists to Customers.
