SUMMARY:
Are you a driven sales professional with a solid background in supply chain, logistics, or freight? We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team in Cape Town!

POSITION INFO:
What You’ll Do:

Acquire new business
Manage a minimum of 10 ongoing target accounts
Conduct regular client visits and follow up on sales leads
Reignite lost business and secure at-risk accounts
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity
Educate clients on our internal systems and AEO status
Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline with weekly and monthly reporting
Assist with estimates, debtors, and customer workshops
Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events

What You Bring:

Matric (Grade 12) – a tertiary qualification in Freight or Logistics is advantageous
Experience in supply chain, warehousing, or operations
Proven leadership and business development success
Strong knowledge of systems like Shipshape or similar
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Professional, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
