POSITION INFO:
An established South African manufacturer of specialised electrical and hazardous-area products is seeking a driven Technical Business Development Executive to develop new business, grow key accounts and identify new market opportunities. The role is based in Johannesburg with regular travel across South Africa, Africa and internationally. Education: - Relevant technical or commercial qualification advantageous. Job Experience & Skills Required: - 7+ years' experience in technical sales, field sales or business development. - Strong South African mining industry knowledge and industry network. - Proven new business development and revenue-generation track record. - Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills. - Commercially astute with excellent communication skills. - Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel. - Hazardous-area, electrical, industrial or mining product experience advantageous.
