JOB DESCRIPTION:

This Leading Global Logistics Service Provider is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their Commercial Team.

This opportunity will offer a highly negotiable remuneration package and a solid foundation to grow and develop a long-term career path. Proven track record in achievement of sales targets and Logistics/Clearing & Forwarding/Distribution Sales experience will be a pre-requisite.

Key Performance Areas will include:

Identifying of market opportunities and potential clients/prospects
Selling of services that will include Clearing, Forwarding, Logistics and National Distribution
Develop and maintain ongoing pipeline/prospective clients inline with business strategy
Retain own existing client base and manage customer relations until handover to customer relations
Expand and grow existing clients business through upsell/cross selling initiatives
Drive strong relations and communications channels with in and outbound operations and management to ensure query resolution management
Effective and economical Territory Management
Ensure client records and all sales activity are updated on CRM System
Ensure updated competitor/market/customer knowledge
Client Profiling, Preparation of Proposals, Presentations, New Business Estimates and business development reports
Ensure continuous development of industry and product knowledge in order to present unique client logistics solutions
