Position Overview:

A reputable global company within the Supply Chain and Logistics industry has a fantastic new opportunity available for a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager in their South African department.

The Business Development Manager will secure new business through active lead generation; RFP responses and strategic prospecting that aligns with the company’s Business Development strategy.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification / Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration / Business Management
• Extensive market/ competitor and rates experience in the logistics industry
• Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in Logistics
• Strong transactional and consultative selling skills
• Advanced understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel; PowerPoint; Word)
• Successful track record of meeting sales targets
