Business Development Manager

SUMMARY:
Business Development Manager (JHB) Financial Services Industry / Investments.

POSITION INFO:
This position reports into the Commercial Director. 
Our client is seeking to employ a BDM with a proven track record and exp of successful business development within a financial services environment, ideally area of investments, offshore investments, existing network of potential client contacts 
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Business Development
Attending / hosting meetings / business leads and prospects
Provide demonstrations to clients, Brokers or IFAs on the company’s products and systems
Travel to Clients / Brokers or IFAs if required (including Mauritius)
Building relationships
Follow the pro-active relationship management tier process via CRM
Meet or surpass sales targets set
Maintain existing client relationships
New business projects and initiatives, constantly thinking of new innovative ideas for increasing sales 
Heading the implementation of relationship management events
Monitoring New Business statistics as or when required
Quarterly reports and Statistic analysis
SKILLS Required
Qualification RE5 - FAIS qualification would be preferable;
Skills Presentation skills – to both small and larger audiences of clients wide knowledge of financial services industry and topical issues; sound technical product knowledge;
Attributes
Confident; self-starter; ambitious; relationship builder;
Experience Proven track record and experience of successful business development within a financial services environment, ideally within the industry area of investments, offshore investment knowledge is required; existing network of potential client contacts;
