SUMMARY:
A well-known International Supplier of conveying and logistics automation solutions supplying the warehousing and distribution and related industries requires the above to manage Senior Key Accounts by identifying new project opportunities as well as driving component sales within the markets.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A technical qualification either Mechanical or Industrial, PLC or related Engineering fields is preferred.
  • The successful candidate must be able to interpret and read drawings in CAD. 
  • Previous experience having worked in CAPEX sales or projects ideally within the Logistics and related markets is preferred but not essential. 
  • Previous Senior Key Accounts sales experience selling solutions into the Materials Handling or related industries with a strong focus on project-based sales is essential.
  • The successful candidate must be proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • The successful candidate must be able to do costings and calculations and understand material flow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Prospecting the end Customers to convince them of the benefits of the Company solutions in the area of automation, conveyor and sortation systems.
  • Meeting an agreed project sales budget.
  • Managing and developing strategic Key Accounts as well as new business development execution within the Conveying, Logistics Automation Solutions Markets supplying the Warehousing and Distribution Industries.
  • Managing and driving large projects within the Automation Logistics Solutions Markets and supporting various Clients on smaller type projects.
  • Presenting sales presentations that are customised and are specific to Client needs and specific opportunities.
  • Managing and driving the Company’s go to market strategy.
  • Providing Customers with turn-key supply chain and mobility solutions.
  • Designing and customising solutions to meet Client requirements.
  • Providing sound mobility and supply chain solutions to existing and new Clients.
  • Performing solution hardware and software demonstrations when required.
  • Developing and negotiating SLAs and customer service solutions with Clients for all products, services and software.
  • Working closely with the Technical and Customer Services Teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Providing identification solutions to Customers to ensure they comply with regulatory and legislative requirements in terms of traceability and global standards.
  • Helping Customers increase efficiency, productivity, reduce cost and gain a competitive advantage through solutions offered by the Company.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
