Business Development Manager

SUMMARY:
One of my clients is looking for a Business Development Manager with at least 7 years’ experience. The candidate must be innovative and a problem solver.

Description:

Business Development Manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of new clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. The Business Development Manager needs to liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful executions of our solutions according to customer needs. Develop new accounts and maintain favourable relationships with clients. Responsible for growth of revenue in new customers within S.A., Africa and International Market.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

Skills and Requirements

• Proven business development management track record
• Demonstrated achievement in driving new business activities and achieving targets.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements at a time while paying strict attention to detail
• Excellent listening, consulting and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
• Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
• Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
• • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Solution architecture mentality or experience a huge bonus
  • Existing relationships within the South African and African markets critical.
  • Must be able to travel
