SUMMARY:
Seeking dynamic candidate for Business Development / Solutions Consultant position to generate Dell EMC Storage / HCI sales and business

  • Matric
  • MS Office with Advanced Excel

Requirements

  • Proven sales track record with minimum 3 years'' experience in enterprise / solution consultation and sales
  • A proven closer, able to garner commitment every step of sales process
  • Experience in storage sales in a similar environment
  • Back-up and security experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics AX

Duties

  • Discover, qualify and develop new business
  • Build a pipeline of new activity within and outside the current customer opportunities base;
  • Develop and maintain strong, loyal relationships with reseller customers and the respective vendor personnel and nurture technical, alliance and sales relationships;
  • Undergo all needed training (both sales and technical) that may be required by the vendor;
  • Prepare sales visits and presentations to pitch product, service and combination packages to clients;
  • Set up and manage ‘proof of concepts’ in conjunction with the Vendor to drive opportunities;
  • Establish sales goals and implement a plan to meet those goals;
  • Coordinate internal technical and non-technical resources to educate and to equip Business Partners with all the information they need to be successful;
  • Become fluent in all products and services offered by the employer through testing, demonstrations and research;
  • Answer questions, describe feature and benefits, and discuss pros and cons of various competing products or services;
  • Expected to process and close opportunities at your resellers; you will be assessed & measured on the achievement of various pre-determined objectives (revenue targets);
  • Provide assistance to resellers’ sales staff whenever necessary with information, quotations and any other assistance needed;
  • Timeously process and resolve customer queries;
  • Prepare account / vendor reviews and reports as and when needed;
  • Where necessary, assist with preparation of pricing quotations and proposals for resellers and work together with other members of the team to ensure brand awareness;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by your Manager;
  • Employee may from time to time be required to perform duties outside the ambit of the position.
