Business Development Manager (Automation Solutions)

SUMMARY:
A Senior Level Position in Sales and Business Development - Automation Solutions to the Mining & Mineral Processing Industry.

POSITION INFO:

• Develop strategies to achieve global order intake in Product Houses as well as Mining & Minerals budget for Africa
• Develop regional sales plans with key stakeholders in the business
• Grow and Develop existing clients, while continuously generating new business
• Maintain close contact with Key Accounts, with regular visits
• Identify new markets and applications for a range of products
• Understand and use market trends to assist in new business generation and expansion
• Ensure product launch plans are developed and executed with the product management team
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Provide support to Business Partners to increase sales
• Product Training
• Review performance and set KPI’s for Sales Agents
• Find new partnership agreements where required
• Ensure all Sales policies and procedures are followed in the region
• Lead, assist and support the technical and commercial bid preparation, together with the technical & commercial divisions and engineering subcontractors
• Provide support during contract negotiations

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years experience in C&I and Automation Solutions within the mineral processing Industry.
