SUMMARY:
A well-known and established Mining Chemical Company requires the above to manage Senior Key Accounts and grow the CompanyÃ¢Â€Â™s portfolio within the mining industry.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

A tertiary qualification in either Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering or related qualification is preferred.
Previous experience having worked in a Key Accounts Management role managing large accounts within the Mining Industry is essential.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as strong business and commercial acumen.
The successful candidate must have excellent selling and negotiation skills and a good knowledge and understanding of contracts and tender processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing and driving Key Accounts within the Mining Industry.
Troubleshooting and advising Senior Accounts regarding new products and solutions that the Company can offer.
Fiscal management of sales territory (volume, sales and gross profit management).
Gaining market intelligence and launching new products.
Driving a successful business plan and sales strategy for allocated portfolios.
Managing and driving sales volumes, turnover and profit targets for allocated portfolio customer satisfaction and retention for allocated portfolios.
Maintaining and growing sustainable relationships with Key Accounts and new business.
Managing, driving and executing strategies for geographical expansion, new products introduced within the existing and new portfolio of clients.
Conducting on-going price reviews, increase negotiations and recommendations for the use for alternative suitable product for mines, if necessary.
Conducting monthly forecasting and stock reviews.
Providing technical support on sales of ion exchange resins and reverse osmosis membrane in various mining applications and others.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
