Business Development Manager required for the mechanized manufacturing Industry. Engineer with entrepreneurial flair required with an sincere passion for equipment design and manufacturing. ability to drive business to new levels.

POSITION INFO:

Executive Business Development Manager

(Mechanical engineering- Mechanised Manufacturing equipment field)

Johannesburg

Mechanical Engineer required to take responsibility for Business development and marketing in highly specialized Mining equipment. Marketing and sales (New Sales, aftermarket sales).

Knowledge in underground mining and specifically mechanized mining equipment and related systems required

Our client is looking for an individual with good business acumenand the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Implement business strategy
Detailing annual business operating plans, setting quarterly and annual budgets
Sales & marketing activities
Developing Client specific sales strategies to support the sales vision
Perform competitor technical product analysis as well as pricing analysis
Develop and implement marketing strategies for new market segments
Ensure retention and growth of existing Clients
Continuous engagement and collaboration with engineering and production departments
Packaging of proposal /tenders for mining sector
Understanding of commercial law is advantageous
Networking with industry professional and stakeholders in mining sector
Attending to commercial contracts, remedies and negotiation for deviant conditions
Creates opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and m

Requirements:

Engineering degree (Mechanica/ Btech
5 Years or more proven working experience as a Business Development Manager
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Excellent track record of applied engineering experience
