SUMMARY:
An established industry leader is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand market presence across Southern Africa. This role offers the opportunity to represent cutting-edge capital equipment solutions and build long-term client relationships in the mining and heavy industries sector.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the mining and capital equipment sectors.
Expand and strengthen client networks across borders in Southern Africa.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure.
Build strong partnerships with clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

Proven track record in selling capital equipment and mining equipment.
Strong cross-border business development experience in Southern Africa.
Solid network within the mining and heavy industries sector.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
