Our client is in the IT sector and is looking to employ a Business Development Representative to work remotely in the role.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Work experience as a Business Development Representative, or in a similar Sales role
  2. Bachelor’s Degree
  3. Interested in technology
  4. Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  5. Track record of achieving sales quotas
  6. Experience with a CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  7. Familiarity with MS Excel (analysing spreadsheets and charts)
  8. Understanding of sales performance metrics
  9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  10. Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  11. Business Administration experience
  12. Good business acumen
  13. Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc.
  14. Must be a very competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development to attract clients by way of calling and emailing potential clients
  2. The daily tasks of Lead Generation include making outbound calls to gather information on potential customers
  3. Follow up on previous communications
  4. Send out the company information package outlining how our services can support customers.
  5. Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  6. Present company to potential clients
  7. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate Salesforce products/services
  8. Effectively showcase the Salesforce technology through email, phone, Skype, or Zoom
  9. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  10. Database Maintenance
  11. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales Team
  12. Report to the Managing Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  13. Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce releases and products/services and the new Pricing/payment plans
