SUMMARY:
Our client based in the Democratic Republic of Congo is looking for a Chinese National, Mandarin Speaking Business Development Specialist to join their team

POSITION INFO:

A dynamic and adventurous problem solver to work in the Democratic Republic of Congo with our mining clients with periodic travel to China.

Your primary focus will be to liaise with existing clients with regard to issues that arise on-site and to develop any new relationships where possible.

 

Business Development / Commercial Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the company wins as much work and maximizes profitability as much as possible
  • Synthesize information from potential clients, other contractors, operations teams, sales teams and other key stakeholders in order to determine market rates and key targets on a twice-monthly basis. 
  • Develop a pipeline of future opportunities and position the company to win key tenders
  • Ensure that accurate and timely quotations are submitted whenever possible
  • Maintain a competitor analysis to assist strategically
  • Develop pricing models and strategies which will position the company as the market leader in the DRC

 

What you should have:

  • A minimum of University Graduate Degree in any relevant discipline 
  • Fluent in Mandarin (essential) & English (intermediate)
