Our client aims to be the trusted provider and preferred choice for world-class technology solutions, offering the best in Aerospace, Security, and Turn-key System Application Projects for their clients. They are seeking a Business Development Technical Support to join their team in Airport City.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Business Development Technical Support
Location: Airport City - Cape town
Salary: Market related
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Minimum 85% matric average.
Engineering degree or equivalent.
<5 years of experience in a business development, sales, or client-facing role.
Own reliable transport and valid drivers license.
Valid passport required.
Proven ability to thoroughly proofread and analyze contracts.
Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools and data analysis software
Proven track record of successful new business acquisition, account management, and revenue growth
Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.

Beneficial requirements:

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic decision-making abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Duties and responsibilities:

You will be involved and responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing client relationships in support of the Business Development Manager. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and contract management skills to drive revenue growth and expand the company's client portfolio.

Effectively communicate the company's value proposition and capabilities to potential clients.
Review client contracts in detail, negotiate favourable terms, and finalize agreements to protect the company's interests.
Proofread and thoroughly review all contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and secure repeat business.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
