SUMMARY:
A mid-sized wealth management company, comprising of a group of financial advisors, are seeking to employ a Business Operations Manager who will be responsible to improve operational processes & procedures, and has an aptitude for digital automation.

POSITION INFO:
The company offers services including, among others, pension funds, wills, medical aid, etc.
The Business Operations Manager will do analysis and provide insights to management through regular reporting.
The Business Operations Manager will be responsible to ensure that each team member in operations can operate as best as possible with role clarity and performance goals. Responsibilities will also include:

Training staff on products and standard operating procedures
Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for areas of responsibility
Reporting to the MD regularly about progress, issues and advancements

Applicants should ideally come from a small business environment with the aspiration of growing with the company.
Required knowledge and skills:

Ability to oversee and collaborate with staff
Knowledge of operations management systems and procedures
Strong organisational skills ,including planning, delegating, and optimizing business processes
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work to meet all deadlines
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Operations Manager.
Bachelors’ degree will be advantageous.
