SUMMARY:
A well-established, mid-sized wealth management company, comprising of a group of financial advisors, with growth aspirations, are seeking to employ a dynamic Business Operations Manager who will be responsible to manage a team that process various client instructions. They need to improve operational processes and procedures, with an aptitude for digital automation.

POSITION INFO:

The company offers services in Investment, risk, medical and employee benefits planning.
The Business Operations Manager reports to the MD and co-ordinates a core team ensuring each team member can operate optimally with role clarity and performance goals.
Responsibilities will also include:

Coordinate and oversee daily core business functions, ensuring organizational excellence
Help management implement organizational objectives, strategies, policies and tactics
Develop staff on products and standard operating procedures
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for areas of responsibility with a strong digital automation focus.
Analyse underlying data and present insights through regular reporting to the MD on progress, issues and advancements.

Applicants should ideally come from a small business environment with aspirations of growing with the company.
Required knowledge and skills:

Ability to oversee and collaborate with staff, holding them accountable to performance standards
Knowledge of operations management systems and procedures, with a strong focus on automation
Strong organisational skills ,including planning, delegating, and optimizing business processes
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work to meet all deadlines
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Operations Manager.
Bachelors’ degree will be advantageous.
