CA (SA) Financial Director

Our Client, a Nationally established Leader in the Manufacturing of Technical textile medical attire is seeking to urgently appoint a dynamic CA (SA) Financial Director to be based in their Midrand, Johannesburg Office.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Reporting to the MD the financial director is accountable for accurate reporting and forecasting of financial results as well as the ongoing management of the company’s financial affairs.
• The Financial Director also acts in an advisory capacity to the MD and the board on all financial matters.

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified CA (SA) NOT negotiable
• 5+ years post articles experience in a similar environment
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience at senior management/Exco level with a proven track record of success
• Proven track record of leading financial and operational functions
• Experience/knowledge with mergers and acquisitions (advantageous)
• Experience in managing a virtual workforce (advantageous)
• Experience with corporate governance
• Experience & knowledge of relevant financial systems (Sage Evolution, Granite)
• Experience with reporting at Board level
• Experience in managing large teams
• Proven experience in working with mergers, acquisitions and new business growth & development
• Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analysis
