Employment Opportunity   This is a 1-year fixed-term position based in Sandton , with a 3-month probation period .  The fixed-term structure is primarily used as an initial assessment period. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, successfully fulfil their responsibilities and meet the company's expectations will be considered for permanent employment .  About the Role   We are looking for a proactive, driven and technically minded Business Developer to join a leading organisation within the CCTV, electronic security and technology solutions industry .  The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, promoting security solutions and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.  This role requires someone with experience in the CCTV and security solutions market , who is confident engaging with clients and has the technical understanding to identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.  The position is initially offered on a 1-year fixed-term contract with a 3-month probation period , with the possibility of permanent employment based on performance.  Please note: The 1-year fixed-term structure is primarily how the company manages the probation and initial assessment period. Candidates who perform their core responsibilities well and meet expectations should have a strong opportunity to be considered for permanent employment.  Key Responsibilities   Develop, implement and oversee business development strategies focused on business growth and customer satisfaction.  Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the CCTV, electronic security and related technology markets.  Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.  Understand client requirements and recommend suitable security products and solutions.  Promote the company's products and solutions to prospective and existing clients.  Drive sales growth and work towards achieving individual sales targets and business objectives.  Monitor sales progress to ensure personal and business goals are achieved.  Respond to client enquiries regarding products, solutions and services.  Maintain regular communication with clients to encourage continued use of the company's products and solutions.  Provide ongoing customer support and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.  Organise and coordinate client training sessions to improve customers' understanding and effective use of products and solutions.  Coordinate internal resources for client training, Proof of Concept (POC) activities, site walks, site visits and related activities.  Work closely with internal teams to ensure client requirements are communicated and addressed effectively.  Provide continuous, constructive feedback to internal teams regarding client needs, market developments and opportunities to improve service delivery.  Maintain awareness of developments and trends within the CCTV, electronic security and technology solutions market.  Perform other duties as required by management.  Requirements   Relevant Bachelor's degree or qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, Security Technology or a related field will be advantageous.  Proven track record of achieving sales growth and business development results .  Previous experience in CCTV, electronic security or a related technology sales environment .  Strong understanding of CCTV and electronic security solutions.  Experience with security brands such as Uniview, Hikvision, Provision, Avigilon, Bosch, ZKTeco, Tiandy or similar will be advantageous.  Strong technical understanding of security solutions and the ability to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.  Experience in a client-facing sales or business development role.  Project management or project coordination experience will be advantageous.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Strong customer service and relationship management skills.  Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.  Ability to work independently and effectively coordinate with internal teams.  Self-motivated, results-driven and enthusiastic about business development and growth.  Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple client requirements and projects simultaneously.  Key Skills   Business Development  Sales & Business Growth  Client Relationship Management  CCTV & Electronic Security Solutions  Technical Solution Selling  Customer Service  Project Coordination  Client Training & Presentations  Proof of Concept (POC) Coordination  Site Visit \/ Site Walk Coordination  Communication & Negotiation  Problem Solving  Analytical Thinking  Time Management  Stakeholder Management
