JOB SUMMARY:
Lexdan Select is assisting a group of companies with their search for a CFO. The group of companies is family owned and predominantly operates within the commercial real estate and hospitality sectors.

The role is based in Cape Town and is an in office role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations
Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
Oversee cash flow, cash management and working capital
Prepare financial statements and reports
Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
Manage relationships with banks
Act as advisor to family on all business related matters
Hands on approach to all finance related matters

Qualifications

Strong finance-based analytical skills
a minimum of 8 years experience in finance
experience in property, real estate or hospitality is required
flexibility to travel up to 1 - 2 weeks per quarter, or as required
