COMMERCIAL INSURANCE BROKER - JOHANNESBURG

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Grow, service and maintain relationships within the Insurance Channel
• Achievement of targets from Insurance Broker networks under key insurance accounts as well as new clients
• Responsible for account management in all aspects of the business to ensure our Client has a positive experience
• Targeting of opposition accounts for new business development
• Achieve a minimum of eight sales calls per day
• Sales presentations and training sessions to clients to ensure knowledge of products and services offered
• Weekly submission of action, call cycles and territory planning
• Preparation of proposals and quotations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric
• RE 1 & 5 Certification essential
• 4-5 years Sales experience within the Insurance industry
• Must have reliable vehicle and valid Driver’s license
• Proven track record insofar as achievement of sales targets
• Computer literate with Word and Excel on an intermediary level
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Must be prepared to travel and attend after hours’ functions when necessary
