MECHANICAL heavy engineering/industrial projects - Quotes & Tenders

POSITION INFO:

COST ESTIMATOR - In the region of R750K CTC. Vaal Triangle.
Primarily Mechanical turnkey, heavy engineering projects, local & international. Well established and reputable Industrial services company. Able to read Mechanical drawings & designs essential.
Analysis, preparation and compilation of accurate Tenders/quotes - large scale, multi-skilled engineering/construction projects in the Mining, Minerals processing, cement sectors. Experience in a similar sector plus a sound working knowledge of Mechanical Project management, relevant administration, commercial management experience, essential. On-site, good decision making and contract negotiations skills and experience plus relevant qualifications required. 5+ years Tender preparation/commercial project management exp. ideally in a Mechanical Engineering environment. Good working knowledge of NEC, FIDIC & GCC contracts.
