Job Description

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Senior Foreman will handle the following:

Lead and coordinate all finishing trades on site, including carpentry, tiling, painting, ceilings, joinery, and final installations, ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards.
Supervise site teams and subcontractors, providing clear direction, resolving issues on the ground, and maintaining steady progress toward project deadlines.
Oversee and control material requirements for finishing works — including accurate ordering, handling, and usage — to prevent waste and manage costs effectively.
Conduct detailed inspections and snag lists, ensuring all finishes are completed to specification and client expectations before handover.
Manage the overall finishing phase of the construction site, maintaining close coordination with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Control teams.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, fostering a safe and efficient working environment for all trades on site.
Monitor progress and quality daily, identifying potential delays or defects early and implementing corrective actions promptly.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and management, providing regular updates and ensuring all finishing works align with design intent and contractual requirements.
Support project handover preparation, ensuring all final touches, documentation, and quality checks are completed to a professional standard.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years in a construction supervisory role within retail or residential projects
Construction Diploma or relevant trade qualification
