Channel Manager – Sales

Are you a commercially driven Sales / Channel Management professional who thrives on building relationships, opening new doors and turning supplier and customer networks into revenue?
We are looking for an experienced Channel Manager with a strong background in IT vendor channel management and asset-based finance / rental finance to drive new business, grow supplier relationships and maximise opportunities across the IT channel.
This is a role for someone who understands that successful channel management is about more than sales — it is about connecting suppliers, resellers and customers to create sustainable commercial opportunities.

POSITION INFO:
What you'll be doing Drive new business development and consistently achieve sales targets. Identify and acquire new suppliers and channel partners. Grow and strengthen an existing supplier and vendor network. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers, resellers and customers. Identify target markets and new business opportunities within the IT channel. Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline from prospecting through to closing. Develop proposals, negotiate agreements and close deals. Sell and position asset-based finance and rental finance solutions to SME, corporate and public-sector clients. Understand customer drivers and business requirements and structure solutions accordingly. Manage key accounts with a strong focus on customer retention, growth and increased share of spend . Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional value-added services. Build relationships with senior decision-makers including CIOs, CFOs, CEOs and Procurement stakeholders . Manage supplier expectations and ensure strong channel penetration. Attend supplier meetings, industry events and customer engagements to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships. Monitor market trends, customer needs and industry developments to identify gaps and commercial opportunities. Manage budgets, reporting and sales performance against targets. Provide regular pipeline, sales and account updates to management. What we're looking for The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in IT vendor channel management. Experience selling asset-based finance, rental finance or similar financial solutions . Experience working within the SME, corporate and\/or public sector markets . Strong IT industry exposure will be highly advantageous. An existing network of IT suppliers, vendors, resellers or channel partners will be a major advantage. A proven track record in sales and business development. Strong commercial and financial acumen. The ability to structure and tailor solutions around customer requirements. Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills. Strong networking ability and an entrepreneurial approach to identifying opportunities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong stakeholder management capabilities across multiple organisational levels. Good understanding of systems, products and the IT channel environment. Why this opportunity?
