SUMMARY:
Degree in Chemical Engineering along with 3 years’ relevant experience in battery plating and Zinc plating plants.

POSITION INFO:

We are currently sourcing a Chemical Process Engineer for the Production Department with experience in chemical composition of battery plating plants, Zinc plating plant and effluent weir for an electrical / electronic manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Chemical Engineering along with 3 years’ relevant experience in battery plating and Zinc plating plants.

Position details:

Type: Permanent
Reports to: Senior Production Manager.

Job description / core competencies:

• Chemical composition of battery plating plants
• Chemical composition of Zinc plating plant
• Chemical composition of effluent weir
• Battery stack assembly
• Battery plate punched
• Daily output of zinc plating and battery plating plants
• Daily output of stack assembly
• Daily output of Battery plate punched

Administrative:

• Fault analysis report writing
• Troubleshooting
• Proficient in Excel, Word
• Process design and modelling
• Root cause analysis
• Ability to Manage team

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
3 - 5 years’ relevant experience

Skills & competencies:
Computer literacy
Able to work under pressure
