SUMMARY:
Degree in Chemical Engineering along with 3 yearsâ€™ relevant experience in battery plating and Zinc plating plants.

POSITION INFO:

We are currently sourcing a Chemical Process Engineer for the Production Department with experience in chemical composition of battery plating plants, Zinc plating plant and effluent weir for an electrical / electronic manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Chemical Engineering along with 3 years’ relevant experience in battery plating and Zinc plating plants.

Position details:

Type: Permanent
Reports to: Senior Production Manager.

Job description / core competencies:

Chemical composition of battery plating plants
Chemical composition of Zinc plating plant
Chemical composition of effluent weir
Battery stack assembly
Battery plate punched
Daily output of zinc plating and battery plating plants
Daily output of stack assembly
Daily output of Battery plate punched

Administrative:

Fault analysis report writing
Troubleshooting
Proficient in Excel, Word
Process design and modelling
Root cause analysis
Ability to Manage team

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
3 - 5 years’ relevant experience

Skills & competencies:
Computer literacy
Able to work under pressure
