POSITION INFO:

I'm building a high-calibre talent pool of Chemical Sales Specialists for exciting roles across South Africa — from raw material suppliers to specialty chemical distributors and industrial process solutions.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of technical sales experience in the chemical or industrial sector
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Job Experience & Skills Required

Strong understanding of chemical applications across sectors such as water treatment, agriculture, mining, food production, adhesives, coatings, or manufacturing
Able to advise on chemical compatibility, performance characteristics, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to maintain and grow key accounts while hunting for new business
Comfortable with B2B selling cycles, product trials, and technical solution selling
Skilled in CRM use, reporting, and managing client relationships long-term
