SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Chief Digital Officer role based on the East Rand. Responsible for leading enterprise wide digital transformation, with a strong focus on product strategy, agile delivery and operational innovation. This role is pivotal in positioning the company as a digital leader within SA and regional markets, leveraging tools to drive growth, streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.

POSITION INFO:
Education requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Technology Management or related
MEng would be advantageous
Additional certifications in finance, agile or digital strategy would also be advantageous

Experience

Around 15 years experience in digital product development, IT leadership or engineering in a complex multi-division environment
Proven success in building and scaling enterprise digital platforms and leading cross-regional teams
Experience within logistics, IT, mobility or automotive sectors will be strong asset

Technical and Strategic skills

Expertise in product management, system integration, cloud platforms and mobile solutions
Skilled in agile frameworks, digital transformation programs and business value realization
Solid understanding of cybersecurity and data governance
Expertise in integrating digital solutions and customer engagement.

This role requires a visionary with strong strategic planning and problem solving ability, a collaborative leadership style with experience in mentoring technical teams and highly effective communications across the board.
