Chief Engineer

Oversee, plan and technically direct projects related to powertrain solutions
Develop and oversee the development of vehicle architecture
Lead and participate in supplier identification, evaluations, and selections
Develop vehicle specifications based on components selections
Develop and execute test and validation specifications
Direct and guide engineers to meet technical needs
Ensure project deliverables are met in accordance with project plans, identify and resolve risk items
Support management team in business development activities and leads, coordinates or support future projects as the business needs evolve
Support the business strategy
Take part in the company performance review process
Assist with general personnel management activities ongoing but specifically during the ramp up phase
General employee administration of responsible groups

Skills & Experience:
Sub-systems design
Minimum 10-15 years of experience
HV battery and BMS specifications
Battery systems lifecycle optimization
High power DC Charging J1772 CCS1
Thermal management
HVAC systems
Specifying and configuring VCU and BCM controllers
MATLAB/SIMULINK/CODER model-based software development
Electric design
HV and LV harness design

Qualification:
MEng or BEng degree in Mechatronic/ Electronic Engineering
