SUMMARY:
This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader, who has successfully led a smaller entity or a business unit within a larger organisation, to step into a CEO role and lead a cluster within one of South Africa’s top JSE listed groups.

POSITION INFO:
This cluster-level CEO role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, drive innovation, and accelerate growth across two separate legal entities that have already established themselves as leaders in their respective technology domains.

Ideal for a dynamic, forward-thinking leader ready to take the next step in their executive journey, this position provides the platform to make a significant impact within a fast-evolving, technology-enabled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company’s strategy, values, and operational business plans to achieve short- and long-term objectives.
Lead new business development to secure a profitable project pipeline.
Drive transformation initiatives to energise and diversify the organisation.
Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, regulators, financial institutions, and the Board.
Build and support a high-performing senior leadership team.
Represent the organisation in local and international industry networks and strategic partnerships.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s Degree; Postgraduate qualification (Master’s or equivalent) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of successful business leadership experience in the technology sector.
Strong Go-to-Market (GTM) and customer-facing leadership experience is essential.
Proven track record as a CEO, Managing Director, or senior business unit leader.
Board-level experience in a private commercial business.
Experience in organisational improvement or turnaround initiatives is advantageous.
Strong strategic, operational, and financial management skills.
Knowledge of software development, hardware design, and relevant industry regulations.
