The Chief Executive Officer will report directly to the Group Board and take full accountability for setting and executing the group’s strategic direction. This role will oversee end-to-end operations across production, planning, finance, sales, distribution, marketing, human capital, procurement, and IT. The successful incumbent will design and implement a clear strategic roadmap, secure the required resources, and drive disciplined execution across all divisions.
You will be responsible for shaping an agile, high-performing organisation capable of competing in dynamic local and export markets. This includes strengthening operational capacity, building a capable executive team, and ensuring alignment between strategy, culture, and performance outcomes. A strong focus will be placed on business development, innovation, and maintaining a balanced and sustainable customer and supplier base.

What You’ll Do
- Define and implement group-wide strategy aligned to Board objectives
- Oversee all operational functions to ensure efficiency, profitability, and scalability
- Drive business turnaround, growth, and market expansion initiatives
- Strengthen organisational design, leadership capability, and succession planning
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships including shareholders, regulators, and industry bodies
- Lead financial strategy, budgeting, and performance management
- Ensure robust governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
- Champion innovation, technology adoption, and continuous improvement
- Oversee business continuity and risk mitigation planning
What You Bring
- Minimum 10 years’ experience at CEO or senior executive level within manufacturing
- Proven track record in business turnaround and performance improvement
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Deep understanding of regulatory and governance frameworks
- Experience managing complex stakeholder environments, including unions
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Postgraduate qualification such as MBA, MBL, or CIMA advantageous
