As the Chief Financial Officer, you will form a critical part of the executive leadership team, drive financial strategy while ensuring operational alignment across finance, supply chain, and manufacturing. This role requires a commercially astute leader who can partner with operations, manage complexity within a unionised workforce, and deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with the CEO and EXCO to drive long-term business growth and profitability
Lead the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, treasury, and compliance
Oversee cost management and margin optimisation within a manufacturing and production-driven environment
Drive financial planning and analysis (FP&A), delivering insights to support operational decision-making
Partner closely with supply chain and operations to enhance efficiencies, inventory management, and cost control
Lead and develop high-performing finance teams, while influencing broader cross-functional teams including blue-collar workforce structures
Manage stakeholder relationships, including auditors, banks, regulatory bodies, and shareholders
Ensure robust governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks are maintained
Support capital allocation decisions, including CAPEX planning and investment strategies
Navigate labour relations dynamics alongside HR, contributing to union engagements and workforce-related financial planning

Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:
Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ post-article experience, with significant time in a senior finance leadership role (CFO / Finance Director level)
Proven experience within manufacturing, ideally in aviation, aerospace, or a related engineering environment
Strong exposure to supply chain finance, cost accounting, and operational finance
Experience working within a unionised environment and engaging with blue-collar workforce structures
Demonstrated track record of strategic leadership and business partnering at executive level
